Hey everyone, since there's an awesome deal on Almay at Walgreens and at CVS this week, I thought I'd share swatches of the ones I picked up this week :)
This is the first time I own eyeshadow from Almay so I wasn't sure if they'd be any good since there weren't a ton of swatches I found online so I just picked up the ones that appealed to me. I did pick up 3 for brown and 1 for hazel eyes, which I have brown eyes, but that was NOT the reason I chose that color family, you can choose whatever colors you like. No makeup rules here!
Let's look at some swatches now, shall we.
First are the ones for brown eyes.
401 Smokey-I for browns, not sure why they look metallic, but they totally aren't. |
All of them went on nicely. |
421 trio for browns in natural sunlight. |
Again, I don't know why they look metallic, but they're not. The lid shade is more peachy in person, looks pink on here.
411 bold nudes trio for browns.
If you have W&W's Petal pusher I don't see this as a must-have, but I like purples on my eyes so I just went ahead and got this one.
Now the one for hazel eyes.
413 trio for hazels in sunlight. |
Not very impressive, but I wasn't using a base so I'm sure they'd look a lot better with a white, or any base underneath.
Alright, hope these swatches are helpful for y'all, while they aren't the most pigmented shadows I've ever tried, they're still nice for a couple bucks and I'm pretty excited to actually use these :)
