Lorac Pro 2 Palette Swatches + Comparison!

Hey y'all! I am pretty excited about this blog post because not only did I just receive this in the mail today, but because my suspicions were right! So I took advantage again, of a deal posted by NouveauCheap, and got the Lorac Pro 2 palette for just $22 including a mini eyeshadow primer and a full sized mascara AND free shipping! Needless to say, you need to get on this deal if you've been wanting to get this palette. Onto the other exciting part, I have seen a bunch of tutorials on Youtube using this palette and wondered if some of those colors were similar to those on the Meet Matt(e) Nude palette by theBalm, and will let you be the judge of how close the colors I compared are, and they are pretty dang close if I do say so myself! Only thing I can say is that the Lorac eyeshadows are softer, but theBalm eyeshadows are still amazing, so if you were just interested in the similar colors, you'll win with either palette. That's pretty much I can say about the Lorac Pro 2 since I haven't used the colors on my eyes yet, but if you follow anyone on Youtube that has featured it, or own the Lorac Pro palette, you know Lorac eyeshadows are amazing. tiny Too Faced Haul

Hey everyone, today I have for you a small haul from Too Faced, they were having an awesome deal this past week that Nouveau Cheap posted about and I wasn't really looking to buying any of the things included particularly, but it was such a good deal that I couldn't pass it up. I've already tried the Better than Sex mascara so I can tell you I love it, and I have the straightest stubborn eyelashes, so I'm excited to have another back up. I've also tried the Chocolate Soleil bronzer and since I'm pretty fair I don't wear it often, so that's kind of just "okay", I wish it would have been the Milk Chocolate bronzer. I just received the package this morning so I can't say if I like anything else that I haven't tried right off the bat, other than the lipgloss was very sticky, which I'm not a fan of, but it was a free sample so I can't complain there. I'm really excited to try Primed & Poreless, I've heard it's good for oily skin and living in Texas, I'll try anything lol also excited for the Melted lipstick since everyone seems to love them.

Inexpensive MLBB (My Lips But Better) Neutral Lip Products!

Hey everyone :) It's no secret that I'm a big Emilynoel83 fan, she recently made a video featuring MLBB lip colors, which I am all about! Although I love wearing bright colors, especially right now in the summer time, I also love those neutral colors I don't need to think twice about whether they'll clash with my eye look. Some of these also remind me of the Kylie Jenner lip that EVERYONE seems to want to mimic, so that's a plus ;) We all have a different pigmentation to our lips, but I think you will find one or two colors that will suit you :)

E.L.F Cosmetics Haul & Swatches!

Last week E.L.F was running a 50% off promo for their 10 year anniversary, they run this 50% off promo a couple times a year so I suggest waiting for these :) I REALLY wanted to try their smudge pots since it seems like everyone on Youtube loves them, so I got a couple! My first impressions on these just by swatching them and trying a few were that the smudge pots are BUDGE PROOF, I was scrubbing my arm to remove them and finally got them off with my Neutrogena eye makeup remover. I had ordered the lip balm tints before but they forgot them, so I was excited to finally get to try them and they feel jelly like, it's a weird texture but it lasted quite a while on me surprisingly, Berry is gorgeous! I had also been wanting to try their matte lip colors for a while because I had also heard a lot of buzz around the one in Natural, so I was disappointed that neither of those colors look flattering on me, but they are rather smooth. That's everything I've tried today (I just got them today lol) and I'm pretty satisfied, especially considering I spent just under $30 for all these goodies :)

JCP Sephora Favorites: Summerstash

It's been so long since I posted, but I'm back with another Sephora set, because I love minis + they are a better value :) Today I am here with the JCP Sephora Summerstash and a story along with it lol Okay, so I walk into Sephora looking for the mascara set (which btw I did get another day and you need to get it, great value) and they didn't have it so I went to the one inside JCP and found saw this set had a sign saying it was $25 for the weekend. Obviously a no brainer, and I got it! Hopefully some of y'all were able to score it for that price because overall I don't think I'd pay $42 for it since they are all minis. I do want to mention it is not the same one that is on Sephora's website right here, this is the JCP exclusive. If you are going to buy one of these, I'd go with the one from Sephora. Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick Duo in Palomino & Violet

So I NEVER go to the Sephora at JCP because it's usually located right in front of Sephora, but today I decided to just walk in and OMG. They have the Sephora Favorites Meet your Match with an OCC lip tar in a nude shade as an exclusive JCP set as an extra! UGH! I wish I had bought mine there =( but oh well, at least they had what I've been looking for =) I had been looking for the Bite Beauty duo with the brighter colors (Palomino & Violet), since my Sephora just had the nude ones, and after hearing about how great Palomino is from Emilynoel83! (I LOVE her & trust her opinion very much!) I tried Palomino as soon as I got it! Soooo creamy and long lasting, I wish they had more duos cause I'm too cheap to pay full price LOL Here are the swatches =)

So which is my favorite from all of these? Snow Peach! It's beautiful! I love the formula of all these lipsticks/glosses, except the WnW lipstick, it applies patchy and also the Elf lipgloss isn't that pigmented, so I wouldn't recommend that one either. Other than that, hope y'all enjoyed the swatches of some lipsticks/glosses y'all might want to pick up for this spring and summer! 

Sephora Favorites: Meet Your Match

Get excited! $25 for 3 mini lippies and 3 mini nail polishes! The exact names of the products are: Deborah Lippman Nail Lacquer in Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Lipsurgence Lip Tint in Elite, Formula X Nail Color in Invincible, Hourglass Cosmetics Extreme Sheen High Shine Lip Gloss in Child, Nails Inc. Devonshire Row Nail Polish, Bite Beauty Lush Fruit Lip Gloss in Strangefruit. I used my 15% discount and just paid $23, so that made this even sweeter, FYI if you don't see it and you checked online and it said they had it at your location the past 24hrs ASK them to check the back! I was looking all around the store and nothing :( but then I asked a worker there and she brought it from the back :) Good thing too, I went to the mall JUST FOR THAT! Totally worth it since I got it, now I'll share the swatches.

Pastel Eyeshadow Palettes

I've seen a lot of tutorials using pastel colors now that it's spring so I decided to pull out a few pastel eyeshadow palettes. I have other palettes with a pastel color or two but I figured I would just focus on some that are mostly pastels. So, anyway now that I've explained all that, let's get on this :)

From left to right I have Wet N Wild Fergie collection "Suburban Jungle" which I believe was LE but I recently got it at Walgreens on sale for around $3, Physician's Formula Pop Color Shimmer Strips for Green eyes, I found it at Ross also recently for around $5, and lastly, Wet n Wild "I'm Feeling Retro" this was recently discontinued but I'm sure they're still out :)

Wet N Wild Fergie collection "Suburban Jungle" Literally took a lot of swatching for the color you can hardly see, pretty disappointing :( They look like pretty colors, so maybe NYX's Milk jumbo pencil will save it.



 Physician's Formula Pop Color Shimmer Strips for Green eyes, really shimmery (as they name implies) and I loveee it. CANNOT wait to use these :) really pigmented, really recommend this palette. Hit up your Ross!

 Wet n Wild "I'm Feeling Retro, good pigmentation, but obviously you can see how frosty they look, so it's hard to use this but I've used the blue on the bottom lash line and it looked alright :)



Radiant Orchid Inspired Lipsticks

Hey everyone, as you may know radiant orchid is the Pantone color of 2014, so after having my Youtube sub box full of radiant orchid tutorials, I figured I should look for the color of the year in my own collection. While I have a lot of purple eyeshadow, I thought it was easier to recommend lipsticks instead, that way you don't have to commit to a palette or anything like that. These are all drugstore lipsticks (like 99% of my collection) so here is MY take on radiant orchid :) I also should add, these are ALL amazing lipstick formulas, they're not just here cause of the color, I truly love these lipsticks.

Milani Rose Hip (14), Maybelline Vivid in Hot Plum (875), Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Berry Couture (835), and Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Raspberry Pie (010).

 Alright, so that's it :) I am loving Berry Couture soo much, it's a wearable every day type of pink. Totally recommend that one if you're only getting one of these.

Ulta Color Coat Cream Eye Shadow in Golden Olive and Rose Gold

I bought these cream eyeshadows a couple months ago without really having any idea of how good they were, I had just seen swatches on a blog. After using them a few times each, I can confidently say I really like these! They're creamier than the Maybelline Color Tattoos, wear nicely, and they come in beautiful colors. There was a sale at the time on Ulta cosmetics so I chose to try these, and now I want MORE. They always have sales on Ulta cosmetics, so I'd say wait for a BOGO 50% and use their 3.50 off coupon in conjunction to get them at a reasonable price, because alone they're $8 bucks a piece, which is kinda high in my opinion.

After those swatches, I don't even think I need to tell y'all again how great these are, just go try one and you'll see yourself! Rose gold is really on trend right now, so I suggest that one. I REALLY wish they had matte ones :(
